Alex Joyce graduated with a BFA in Film Production Editing at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2020. She now pursues a career as an assistant editor for film and television, as well as freelances as a DIT.

 

Alex has worked across several genres, including foreign language, but has a strong passion for editing comedy. Recently she has had the opportunity to work as an Assistant Editor with Display, World of Dance, and E! News.  She is currently working on Disney's Disenchanted as an Editorial PA.

 

Alex Joyce is passionate about connecting with people through film. Editing allows her to string the collaborative efforts of numerous artists together into a story that entertains and moves people. Film can change a person’s view, or entertain, but the best films can do both. That is what Alex Joyce strives to do in all of her work.
